Kynan has been a member of Swan Canoe Club since he started paddling about 15 years ago, although he is now based in Sydney so he can train at the Penrith whitewater stadium with the rest of Australia’s elite slalom paddlers. He has inspired a whole new generation of junior slalom paddlers at the Club who performed wonderfully well at the recent National Championships in Tasmania, bringing home bundles of gold medals in many events.
