Rod Fry Race Coordinator Required – URGENT

Our annual race to Fremantle and return is in need of a Coordinator – the job and procedure is fully documented and so someone with a bit of time and enthusiasm is well prepared. Please contact the President – president@swancanoeclub.org.au asap (we had someone but they had to pull out due to other commitments).

Junior Paddling Courses for First Term

First term weekly paddling lessons for juniors will start again very early in first term – in both slalom and guppies if enough kids come along. So please tell you family and friends and contact Marion (membership@swancanoeclub.org.au) for more details.

Broke Inlet Trip

14 club members spent the Australia Day long weekend paddling on the remote and beautiful Broke Inlet near Walpole – a report and photos will appear on the website soon.

Point Walter Paddle: Saturday 7th Feb.
SCC’s regular guided paddle over to Point Walter and return (with a small hiatus for coffee and a natter). There has been a change of Guide for this month and so your guide is Gill Palmer: palmergillian@hotmail.com please contact her to join the paddle.

Falcon Bay Trip: 20th – 22nd Feb 2015
have a get away by heading to Falcon bay, stay for the weekend, paddle the local waters and relax with your fellow swannies. Participants must have completed the Intro to paddling a Sea Kayak or equivilant experience to go on the water. Registrations: 8:15am
Event start: 9:30am for all paddlers and SUP’s

Entries close Thursday, 5th February at 12 noon (WST).  No Entries on the Day.
