The race was a great success with a wonderful turnout of volunteers on the day – many thanks to all who contributed. We had nearly 50% more entries this year and the conditions were good for the paddling considering we were wondering if that threatening remnant of a cyclone would cancel the event a couple of days prior. And note that the eight craft in the new Recreational class all won prizes – so next year we expect a bigger turnout!
