SCC Open Day – Sunday 16th October 9am – 12noon
The Club’s Open Day is happening in two weeks, so if you know of friends or family who are interested in paddling and would like to give it a go, please encourage them to come along.
We need lots of volunteers to make this event successful. A few people are needed on Saturday 15th for a brief busy bee to make the clubhouse spick and span – 11am. On Sunday 18th there are lots of jobs to be filled, from showing people around the Club, helping people get ready to go on the water, running a BBQ and helping with dry inductions. If you can help in any way please contact Peter who is coordinating at president@swancanoeclub.org.au.
Australian Canoeing Renewal Email – IGNORE
AC have again sent all members a renewal notice – PLEASE IGNORE this, since your renewal is done through the Club (and we pay AC for their portion of your payment).
All memberships and boat space leases expired on September 30th, so now is time to renew – click on this link. Keyfobs will be deactivated for non-members soon!

Saturday: meet at about 10am at Walter’s Café, Pt Walter
Tuesday: leave at 9:30am for a trip to Walter’s Café, Pt Walter . There are quite a few people in the Club who attend Tuesdays and now share emails so that groups can leave at different times eg earlier at 7:30am. If you would like to be added to this email list please contact Marion at marione@gengo.com.au
Friday: leave at 8:00am for a trip to Zephyr Café, East Fremantle
Friday nights – Paddle Bash at 5:45pm – a friendly race against your own best time and social drink after

12th Nov – 50th Anniversary of Swan!
26th Nov – Introduction to Kayaking course
27th Nov – Introduction to Paddling a Sea Kayak course
