One of the ClubÕs more colourful ex members, Chris Robinson, died in his sleep on Sunday 22 March 09.
Chris, who was known in the local community for his charity work, had raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for various charities and spent much of his time helping people worse off than himself. He was a keen camper and hiker and had paddled every Avon Descent up to a few years ago.
