Christmas Party: Awards Night & Fun Paddle – Dec 6th
The Christmas Party this year will be in two parts (paddle optional, but with a fun twist!):
– 5pm: Fun Paddle with prizes: not a race, but you will be given tasks to complete and items to collect on a paddle down to Chidley Point (under one hour and 3km distance so fine for novices)
– 7pm: Party and awards: bring your own food and drink, and dessert will be provided
Please email Marion (on behalf of Donna) (membership@swancanoeclub.org.au) if attending. Remember we have a 100 person limit so get your RSVP in as soon as possible.
Award Nominations Wanted
Please send in nominations for anyone you think the Committee should consider for the following awards:
– Club Member of the Year – someone who has put in a special effort to help the Club
– Paddler of the Year – someone who put effort into improving their paddling, either training competitively and racing, or socially to gain skills, or getting much fitter etc.
– Junior Paddler of the Year – likewise for junior
